The Fruita Storytime Assistant will support Fruita Branch Library staff in delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate Storytime programs that foster early literacy skills in young children. You will be greeting patrons and helping with setup/teardown. Storytime is on Mondays from 10-10:30am; you will be needed 10am-12pm. The age range is 3-5 years old.

Summer Reading Volunteer Orientation will take place on Friday, May 22 from 10:00am -12:00 pm at the Fruita Branch in the Idea Lab. We will be making introductions, reviewing guidelines and expectations, and checking that all paperwork is complete.

Teen volunteers between 14-18 are invited to volunteer this summer at the Central Library. Summer Reading runs from May 26th - July 25th. The library is a great place to spend your summer helping your community and gain valuable workplace skills. Teens will help sign up participants for the Summer Reading program, help with summer events, distribute prizes, and help with additional library tasks.
