Description

Hello Valued Volunteers!

Guess what? Mesa County Libraries will celebrate its 125th Anniversary in the summer of 2026, and we are creating a video with 125 stories to signify our 125 years in Mesa County! Clips of your sound bites will also be shared on our social media channels starting in January 2026.

As a library volunteer, we’d love to record a 30 to 60-second video testimonial about what the library means to you at our 970West Studio or the History Room at the Central Library. Your experiences make our history special—let’s capture them together!

Some questions we will ask include:
  • Why should libraries be important to all Mesa County residents?
  • Why did you want to volunteer at the library?
  • Does the library help you connect to the community? And if so, in what way?
  • What is your favorite thing about Mesa County Libraries?  The thing you like to brag about?  What is the thing you most often share with community members?
  • Why do you LOVE your library?

Please sign up HERE over the next few weeks so we can schedule and get you recorded by the end of Friday, March 7.

The studio team will contact you within a few days of receiving your completed form and schedule your recording. Thanks in advance for participating. Please reach out if you have additional questions.

Also, if you know of anyone who would like to participate in sharing their library memories, please forward me their contact information before the end of March 2025.

Thank you for your support of the library!  Michelle
