Mesa County Libraries is hosting a Blood Drive with St. Mary's Blood Center Bloodmobile! One in seven people entering the hospital will need blood, and you can save the lives of up to three people each time you give! It costs you nothing but your time and takes an hour or less.
Requirements for Donation:
Age: 18+ (person 16 or 17 years old can donate with a signed St. Mary’s Blood Center parental permission form)
Weight: at least 110 pounds, (120 pounds for students)
Health: general good health, no sickness or symptoms
Diet: eat a well-balanced meal & drink plenty of water before donating
ID: everyone must have a valid photo id with first & last name and birthdate
