QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) is brief suicide intervention curriculum for anyone and is covered in an hour. The QPR mission is to reduce suicidal behaviors and save lives by providing innovative, practical and proven suicide prevention training. The signs of crisis are all around us. We believe that quality education empowers all people, regardless of their background, to make a positive difference in the life of someone they know.

About the Presenter:
Jennifer Daniels grew up in Western Colorado and has called Mesa County home for 27 years. She is the Coordinator of the Mesa County Suicide Prevention Coalition and the Colorado-National Collaborative (CNC) for Mesa County. She works full-time for School District 51 as the Suicide Prevention Coordinator. Her undergraduate education is in Human Biology and she's currently pursuing her graduate degree in Social Work. Jennifer has volunteered with the Grand Junction Police Department as a Victim Advocate since 2012 with a special heart for suicide loss response. She is a master trainer in ASIST, a certified trainer in Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid and QPR, as well as the program coordinator for NAMI Ending the Silence.
