Description

In celebration of Earth Day, Mesa County Libraries and The Green Team of Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Grand Valley invite you to come view the first episode of the documentary, H2O the Molecule that Made Us, to learn about the importance of water in our world.

After the 50 minute viewing, we encourage patrons to stay and listen to a brief presentation from local farmer and water activist, Tad Hutchins, to hear about water conservation on the Western Slope

Light snacks and water will be provided.

Tad Hutchins is a local farmer from Fruita and is extremely involved in local western slope water issues.  His mother was Ruth Hutchens for whom the Hutchens Water Center at Colorado Mesa University was named.
