Seeking a volunteer to help stock the Mesa County Libraries Seed Library.
Main tasks include:
- Measuring out seeds and packaging them into smaller packets
- Applying labels to seed packets
- Sorting seeds and ensuring quality as needed
This work does not require heavy lifting and can be done entirely while sitting. This opportunity will occur in a group setting, but volunteers are welcome to bring headphones and devices for listening to music, audiobooks, or podcasts while working with the seeds. Group seed sorting activities and individual opportunities will be available throughout the year dependent on seed inventory.
