Help inspire a love of reading and creativity in our community! As a Puppet Maker Volunteer, you’ll work alongside other teens and library staff to create simple, handmade puppets for families to take home. Your creativity and care will extend far beyond the library walls. By helping create take-home puppets, you’ll support families in continuing the joy of storytelling and imaginative play at home. These simple puppets encourage caretakers and children to play, read, and learn together—building stronger bonds and nurturing a lifelong love of literacy.
This project is made possible through the generous support of the Friends of Mesa County Libraries.
