The Adult Learning Center is recruiting tutors for our new Clifton MCPLD location!
Tutors are needed specifically at our Clifton branch to tutor in adult literacy and English language acquisition. We are eager to connect with individuals who would like to tutor beginning English language students and adult literacy students with known and unknown disabilities. No previous teaching experience is required; tutors are asked to teach for 1.5 - 2 hours per week for 6 months.
Please contact Allison Troy, ALC Coordinator, after RSVP'ing to this event: 970-683-2443, atroy@mcpld.org. Interested tutors are asked to complete a background check, interview with the MCL volunteer coordinator, and attend an ALC training on November 9 from 9AM - 12:30PM at our Clifton location.
